The coffee shop the village kept asking for

The first is Haus of Paws, which moved into the village from a Devon location. Haus of Paws moved up the road from Devon, tripling its space across from the Berwyn Tavern, and a doggie daycare has received approval at the facility and is set to open in the summer of 2026. The daycare piece is what changes the calculus for two-income households. A groom appointment is a one-off. Daycare is a recurring weekly reason to be on that block.

The second is LIFT Strength & Wellness. Recently opened on Lancaster Avenue, LIFT aims to help locals with their fitness goals in 2026 and beyond, with a primary focus on supporting menopausal women to feel balanced, strong, and energized. That is a narrow, deliberate market position, and it is a category that the village did not previously have covered at all.
