Longwood Gardens in Kennett Square is a must-visit garden and entertainment space that hosts shows, offers classes for students and puts on fun events around the year. This fall, Longwood Gardens has several great activities for all ages. Visit the pumpkin playground, attend the Chrysanthemum Festival or check out the light show designed by Bruce Munro.

The Chaddsford Winery puts on an Adult Trick or Treat event that leads groups on a walking tour where guests get to take part in five different Halloween-themed pairings by an expert Chaddsford Wine Guide. Every third Thursday, Chester County residents congregate on State Street for some fun in the evening. The Warwick Fall Festival is a free festival held on October 1st in Warwick County Park. Guests can enjoy activities like pumpkin painting, hot air balloon rides, wagon rides, pony rides, archery and much more. To go with the activities, there will be plenty of food, live music and more!
At the Chadd Fords Historical Society, Chester County residents can watch local artists carve more than 70 giant pumpkins. The pumpkin carving will take place on a Thursday, and the pumpkins will remain on display Friday and Saturday. During the event, there will be live music, a kid-friendly Haunted Trail, food, local craft beer and wine.
Highland Orchards is an active 200-acre farm that hosts hayrides, fall-picking tours and festivals. You can visit the farm to take educational tours, see some farm animals, participate in special events or simply try some of the famous baked pies and apple cider donuts!
